If you found your way to this website, it is probable that someone very important to you died by suicide. We are deeply sorry for your loss and we extend our sympathies to you and your family. If your loss is new, we know that each moment can be excruciating, filled with questions and confusion as you wonder how you will cope.
Our support group is here to assure you that you can and will survive. Fellow suicide loss survivors are here to support and help guide you through your grief process. Running consistently every Wednesday evening since 1987, our group has supported hundreds of families who have shared the unimaginable loss you are now facing. We are an open group, which means no matter how long ago your loss occurred you are always welcome. Some survivors come for a short time and others attend weekly, each taking away the tools they need to heal. Everyone’s grief journey is unique and yours will be met with respect. In our group you will meet fellow survivors who will share the loss they endured, how they survived and how they have gone beyond surviving to experiencing happy and meaningful lives.
We invite you to visit our website to find information and resources as well as words of support from fellow survivors. By clicking on the link below you can opt in to receiving emails from our group that offer tools and insights to help you on your path to healing.
As survivors we are forced to make sense out of an unimaginable situation and a grief that is unlike others. Please know that we are here to help you face the challenges ahead and to remind you to be gentle with yourself and let go of expectations of how you “should” be doing. With time and work healing will occur.
Warm Regards,
