Suicide Loss Survivor Handbook

You can and will survive. Let us show you how.

When a loved one dies by suicide, overwhelming emotions can leave you reeling. Your grief might be heart wrenching. At the same time, you might be consumed by guilt — wondering if you could have done something to prevent your loved one’s death. A loved one’s suicide is a challenging, confusing, and painful experience.

As you face life after a loved one’s suicide, remember that you don’t have to go through it aloneYou can and will survive. Let our group of survivors show you how.

Being able to go to a weekly meeting saved my life. Sharing the pain and anxiety with others eased the loss…in time. There is a bond between survivors that other people in my life cannot understand.”

KERRY – SUICIDE LOSS SURVIVOR

We welcome you to join our weekly support group

Established in 1987, we are the longest-running Suicide Survivor Support Group in Naples, Florida. We are a peer run group, offering a safe place for members to share their grieving experience, to receive and provide mutual support and to learn more about suicide.

Suicide loss survivors share a bond, and although each of our situations is unique, we tend to experience similar feelings, questions, and stages of grief. Our group provides an opportunity to meet others who understand and can result in deep friendships.

We are sorry for your loss, and we hope you will call to learn more about our group sessions. We do know how you feel, and welcome the opportunity to meet and support you in your time of need.

Surviving After a Suicide Loss support group meetings are held every Wednesday from 6:30-8:30pm in Naples, Florida. Please contact our group facilitator Bob Riley at 239-253-6600 for the location and to learn more.
