Surviving After A Suicide Loss Support Group (S.A.S.) – Naples, Florida

An estimated quarter million people each year become suicide survivors.

AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF SUICIDOLOGY

Established in 1987, we are the longest-running Suicide Support Group for Survivors in Naples, Florida.  We are a peer run group, offering a safe place for members to share their grieving experience, to receive and provide mutual support and to become aware of the illness of suicide.

Suicide loss survivors share a bond, and although each of our situations is unique, we tend to experience similar feelings, questions, and stages of grief. Our group provides an opportunity to meet others who understand and can result in deep friendships and a bridge to healing.

“The group became my lifeboat. They reached out and pulled me on board the lifeboat of living.” — S.A.S. Group Attendee

We are sorry for your loss and we hope you will call to learn more about our group sessions. We do know how you feel, and welcome the opportunity to meet and support you in your time of need.

“Grief only becomes a bearable experience when it is shared with those who really understand.” — Simon Stephens

Trust us, you can and will survive. Let others share with you how.
