“My Heart, My Soul, My Son”
Kevin was born in Silver Spring, Maryland on 10/2/79. From the moment of his birth, Kevin brought love and joy to everyone who knew him. He was a sensitive, kind and extremely loving person with a sweet smile.
Kevin’s love of art led him to a career as an Animator. He graduated from the University of Maryland in 2002 and attended Gnomon School of Visual Effects in 2004-2005. He quickly became known and respected in the animation community, working with companies such as Laika, Nathan Love, Psyop, and others as a Freelance Animator in New York, Portland and Los Angeles. Some of the well known projects that he worked on was a movie titled Paranorman, by Laika (2012) and many commercials such as Coke; Chips Ahoy; Michelin; Kool-Aid; Toys R Us; and M&M commercials (one of which appeared on the 2014 Super Bowl).
Kevin left us on June 12, 2018…my Forever 38. “Until I see your face again when I am called to Heaven, may the Angels keep you in their care…My beautiful, sweet son, Kevin”
